The good ole’ saying goes “Abs are made in the kitchen”, which is true because, without nutrition and recovery, anabolism will not take place. Anabolism is rest and recovery mode that your body shifts into with the help of glucose, spiking in your insulin levels is actually anabolic which is one of the benefits of high-glycemic foods (obviously the good kinds). When this is combined with strength training and cardiovascular training, we can see the gains coming in 🙂 both in fat loss and lean muscle mass.

Weight loss cannot occur without CONSISTENCY… and lifestyle changes…

Working hard and consistently making small gains every day. Even though there will be bumps in the road, Matt can assure you, that you WILL reach your goals within a great and viable timeframe.

Matt in high school weighed 130 lbs in his junior year, injury-riddled from lack of sleep, food restrictions and poor diet, and a poor attitude when it came to relaxing and resting. He suffered most when he was overworked in high school, starting with playing a lot of sports but not a lot of rest and recovery time. Matt then started to track his calories, prioritized sleep, and was flexible with his diet to achieve his weight GAIN goal.

Putting on weight was Matt’s struggle, which is the opposite of most people’s. But how does this relate to you?

Matt has helped many people with their weight loss journey and has taken his passion to earn a Bachelor’s of Science from UCF and his Master’s of Science from FAU while coaching private clients ranging from elite-level athletes to the older population who wants to strength train and achieve a lean, beach-body physique.

Now, he trains people full-time for his job. In-person and online. Helping his clients achieve their results and have them leaving happier than before their weight loss and/or gain struggles.

Matt makes lifestyle changes for his clients in an easier-than-normal way… By not restricting to a small number of foods or avoiding foods altogether. With his moderation approach, many clients have had major success in both gaining weight and losing weight.

‘Getting in shape’ does not happen overnight or in a couple of weeks or months. The long-term solution will be from a whole lifestyle change, starting with exercise adherence.
